How to determine the right size cupola for
your building
- First measure the length of
the building on which you wish to install the cupola.
- Second, substitute an inch
for every measured foot of building length.
- Third, find a size in
column A in the table below that is closest to your roof's length in
inches as determined in step 2, and order that size cupola.
For example, let's
say your stable's roof measures about 41 feet. Substituting inches for feet,
you should purchase a cupola with an "A" dimension of 42 inches.
The cupola sizing
formula discussed above is considered the "rule of thumb" for
sizing cupolas.
